Margaret Bourke, BSc, QFA, MII, PIB joined the company in 2004, after taking early retirement from a management position in retail banking. During her time in banking she undertook a broad range of training and study in the sector.
She holds a Level 7 in Disability Studies from NUI Maynooth, Diplomas in Employment & Bereavement Counselling, Diploma in Counselling, Psychology & Therapy.
She is a certified trainer and undertook her studies at NUI Galway. She founded the RSG Flexible Learning College in 2006 and was instrumental in it achieving Fetac/QQI Provider status in 2010. She is a mediation practitioner since 2003 specializing in workplace, organizational, financial and elder mediation. Since joining the company she qualified as a Professional advocate (Higher Cert in Arts & Advocacy Studies) with Institute of Technology, Sligo and offers advocacy within the organisation. She also completed the following; Higher Certificate in Workplace & Community Practice from Athlone AIT, and Advanced Certificate in Supervisory Management Skills.
She spent 25 years as a Volunteer Information provider with the Citizens Information service, during which time she also served as a Director.
She a member of Institute of Bankers in Ireland, The Mediation Institute Ireland and Fermoyle Primary School Board of Management and is the Vice President of Lanesboro ICA.
She is a member of Special Olympics Ireland and long time member of the Strokestown Agricultural Show ladies committee. She is a tribunal panel member with the Mental Health Commission She is Safeguarding Parish Representative for Child Protection
